GuestbookAdd NewJim, what can I say about Cherie / Lily? She has filled that empty space that was left when I had to put Ollie down. Her personality is so sweet and gentle and she makes Tom and I laugh out loud. Thank you for seeing us on such short notice to show us the pups and thank you for letting Cherie come home with us. Cherie sends her love to Lucie and all the gang and special kisses to her mom and dad. She says she loves her new people and is trying very hard to pee in the right places. Well its bath time .....vet visit tomorrow. Thanks again Jim for all the support or for being such a responsible breeder. Your gang is beautiful. Added by Sue Mahoney from Auburn, Ma on 5 May 2008, 3:18 pm Jim, that little Lucie reminds me so much of her brother Max!! We would so love to have her but I am not sure if Max would like to share the limelight. Is Lucie still very alpha? Maybe she should visit us here to see if Max is a good big brother. If not, one walk around the neighborhood and someone will fall in love and take her! Just think, Max would have family right here! Much love! Added by Andrea from Westford, MA on 4 May 2008, 7:25 pm Dear Granddaddy Jim, Happy Birthday to ME!! It was my sweet half-sister Amelie’s birthday a few days ago, and now it is MINE! Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you, my litter mates (and half-litter mate Amelie!), my new puppy siblings, and Mommy Magali and Daddy Pastis. Oh Jim, I want to see my relatives so much, but I know that you are taking the BEST care of them. Someday it will be my turn to get a sister or brother for my home here, but now I just send my love to you all. Can you believe that I am 1 year old?? I still remember how you took me for walks in the parking lot of the college, practicing for when my family would put me on a leash. I got pooped, but I am bigger now and love to walk. My favorite game is soccer—can you believe it? Maybe it is because I think that the ball is a round Coton. And I remember running around your yard. Those were the days. You got me in good shape! I also love to ride in the car—just like when I rode with you—but now especially when my person-mom carpools the neighborhood kids to swim practice. They pass me around the van to hold me! You wouldn’t believe how popular I am! Early May must be a lucky time, because I was born last year and you sold the house this year. I am so happy that life is good for you!! Lots of love from your little Gigi! Added by Gigi from Swarthmore, PA on 3 May 2008, 8:08 pm Hi Jim, I know you are very busy with your new pups, but please take time out of your busy schedule and read this very important announcement. Guess whose birthday it is? Give up? It\'s ME!! YES, that\'s right! it\'s your little AMELIE! I\'M ONE YEAR OLD!! I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart ( IT\"S A BIG ONE) for giving me a good beginning. Mystique & Pastis, my mom & dad, gave me so much love. And since I was an only child you made sure I had pleny of playtime with Magali\'s babies. I remember sitting on your shoulder in the evenings & watching TV with you-so much FUN we had. I hope to visit my old stomping grounds soon. I will even bring my older sister Yuki & my new friend from Canada-Cotonnerie Zack! Boy oh boy do we have fun together! We keep Diane & Mark on their toes. They jump through hoops for us- really they do!! They are the best......we wouldn\'t want to wake up in anyone else\'s bed!!!!!!! Gotta go... Time to blow out the candle on my cake. Luv Ya! Your little AMELIE! Added by Amelie from Ardsley, New York on 25 Apr 2008, 5:26 pm Jim, Julie is adjusting very well, she loves Beau and follows him everywhere. At times she is the boss of him,I\\\'ts great, were having fun. Ashley and I went to the beach with Julie and Beau yesterday and people were all over us wanting to pet the dogs, asking questions about them.I gave out your E-mail to about six people.Jim that says a lot about you and the quality of these Cotons.People were very impressed because they are so beautiful. Added by gina laflamme from methuen,ma on 23 Apr 2008, 6:36 am Hi Jim, Madeleine (aka Jacqui, born 1/20/08) couldn\\\'t be a more perfect fit for our family. We all adore her, especially the kids, and she is their perfect companion. Her disposition is so sweet and she loves everyone she meets. Her ease with people is a wonderful reflection of the loving, hands on way you raise your dogs. Thank you for your guidance and patience through all of our visits to determine which of Magali\\\'s pups was right for us. Good luck with the new pups! p.s. you were right...it only took 3 nights before Maddie was sleeping on our bed Added by Ted and Kristen from Connecticut on 21 Apr 2008, 8:59 pm Hi Jim! Great job with the website. Cozi(Lance) is doing well and says hi! -Shannon Added by Shannon from New Jersey on 12 Apr 2008, 4:15 pm Hi, I just wanted to say Happy Second Birthday to my bother and sister, Max and Posey. I can\'t believe it\'s been two years since we were born, because I still feel like a pup (I don\'t believe that dog years thing). I have had a wonderful two years with my family, and I hope the two of you have also. Maybe some day we will meet again at Jim\'s house, because as we all know, none of the happiness we have or bring to others would have been possible without him. Love, Barklee Added by Barklee Huber from Melrose, MA on 12 Mar 2008, 2:03 pm Puppy Sisters!!! Puppy Sisters!!! Welcome, girlfriends, to the wonderful world of being a Coton—especially a Coton from Jim. You are all beautiful, and I can tell already that you will do the rest of us proud. My family loves your pictures and sends their congratulations. They say it seems like just yesterday that I was a pup like you, but now I am a big girl….almost one year old! I wish I could see you all sometime…maybe I can talk my family into a trip. Please send my love to Mom and Dad, and of course Granddaddy Jim. Gigi Added by Gigi from Swarthmore, PA on 22 Feb 2008, 5:32 am Hi Jim, Remember me? Thought I\'d check up on you and see what you are doing. I am pleased to find you still there, as I am too after 15 years. Your \"memorials\" really touched me, as that is how I feel about my dogs too. I lost my standard poodle last May to cancer... She was only 9. I still struggle along through thick and thin. I guess either breeding is a passion (like for you and me) or you give up. http://www.rosa-alba.ch Greetings to you, and keep going! : - ))) Nancy http://www.rosa-alba.ch Added by Nancy Chumachenco (http://www.rosa-alba.ch) from Salmsach, Switzerland on 19 Feb 2008, 2:18 pm Dear Jim-We are so sad to hear of the passing of Cosette and our Belle\'s Daddy, Marius. Belle is already 10 years old and is still spunky as ever. She is quite the spoiled little girl and smiles for the camera! She, like Marius, loves her treats and will do just about anything for a doggie cookie! Much happiness in your new home. the Klein Family Added by Klein Family from Warren,NJ USA on 5 Feb 2008, 5:24 pm I connected to your site through Sara France\'s. My sister has a puppy from Sara that she adores. She lives in Ashfield,MA. How close is Belchertown? I would be interested in seeing any puppies you might have on my next visit east. TB Added by Terri from Kokomo,IN on 23 Jan 2008, 1:22 pm Dear Jim, When our holiday card was returned - we didn\\\'t know you had moved - we rushed to check your website to make sure you and Emma\\\'s family was ok. We were deeply saddened to learn about Cosette and Marius. Our hearts go out to you. Emma is 9 years old today - and continues to bring us great joy. We and our children love her dearly. We hope you are well. With warmest wishes, Jane and Roy Karlin Added by Jane Karlin from New York, NY on 4 Jan 2008, 7:06 pm Dear Jim, Your 2008 Photo of the Luippold Family deserves a Pulitzer Prize in photography! How you manage to capture such a serene portrait is amazing. Barklee is the image of Pastis. We never saw the resemblance until this picture arrived. I will always have a special spot in my heart for Mandarine AKA “The Artful Dodger”. I will never forget the “Great Muffin Heist of 2006”! Barklee has brought us so much Joy! Thank you, Jim! With Much Love, Dorothy, Randy and Barklee Added by Dorothy, Randy and Barklee from Melrose, MA on 2 Jan 2008, 10:17 am Jim -- Bisous (renamed Lily) is an absolute beauty! What a fantastic personality she has! While the name Bisous (hugs and kisses) was wonderful, we had to put down our 18 yr old Bichon Frise \'Daisy\" and the kids decided on the name Lily for our Coton. She is so friendly to everybody she meets, and is a treasured companion to our 80 lb Boxer \"Cassie\" (who is so protective of Lily!) Thanks again for all your advice during Lily\'s puppyhood. We enjoy her so much and there is definitely a big difference in getting a puppy from a breeder such as yourself than from a store. She is so well adjusted we just love her to pieces! So, when are you coming to visit with your dogs in toe? We\'re on an acre, and totally fenced in! We\'d love to have you -- you know this already! Take care, Linda and Mike Added by Linda and Mike A. from Colonia, NJ USA on 30 Nov 2007, 9:32 pm Your little Miss Sophie, now a little over a year, is the sweetest, most loving puppy, just like Ashton, now eight, and also from your loving home. Miss Sophie is a terrific big sister to Lily of the Valley. They love the snow, as well as the mud! Little clowns, all of them, always making me laugh at them, several times a day, especially when they do \\\"ZoomZoom.\\\" We all sleep in my bed together, each taking their usual spot. You make the greatest \\\"babies!\\\" Thank you for your love of Cotons. I am very grateful to you for all your mentoring and friendship. Happy Thanksgiving. I\\\'m still praying that your old house will sell!!!!! Pamela Whitney Added by Pamela Whitney (angeliquecotons.com) from USA on 24 Nov 2007, 8:16 am Bark, As your sister (once removed?) I just wanted to say \"Happy Birthday\" and that I couldn\'t agree more with everything you wrote about Jim. He\'s the best! Love, Barklee Added by R&D Huber from Melrose, MA on 12 Oct 2007, 7:48 am Woof! Today is my (Gigi’s) 5 month birthday, and I just had to write to tell you how much my family loves me. They send their thanks for your expertise, wisdom, and support throughout the process of bringing me home. Not to brag, but my family thinks that I’m pretty special. You already knew that, of course, but they are ever amazed at how I am so smart, funny, sweet, cooperative, loving, perceptive, well behaved, social, easy-going, and beautiful. (No credit to me—it takes a great breeder!) If anyone else out there is thinking about getting a Coton, or thinking about contacting Jim as a breeder, you are thinking the right thoughts. We are a great breed, and I came from the best breeder. I miss Jim, but will always think of him as a terrific friend to me and my family. I hope my brothers and sisters are doing well! Love, Gigi Added by Gigi from Swarthmore, PA on 3 Oct 2007, 1:19 pm Hi, I am so sorry for the lost of your loved pets, I am writing to you because I am interested in getting a puppy if you could help me with that process I will apreciate very much for your time ... I will be waiting for your email. Darling R. Knowing you and the love you have for each one of the cotons, I´m sure that these were tough moments for you. Your guestbook is full of interesting and supporting messages. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Take care, Judy Halbrooks Added by Judy Halbrooks from South Milwaukee, Wi on 11 Aug 2007, 5:20 pm Dear Jim, I just read your touching news about your Cosett and Marius. I am so sorry for your loss. They sound like they were amazing friends, and it is so hard to lose the ones you love. God Bless, Avril Mortellite Added by Avril from Ohio on 2 Aug 2007, 6:14 pm Dear Jim, What can we say about our new baby that you already don\'t know? She is everything that you promised & everything we expected PLUS a whole lot more. She fits into our family like it was always meant to be. From the ride home in the car she & YUKI became fast BEST FRIENDS-just as sisters should be!! She has such a sweet personality- BUT in no way is she a pushover! Both girls are very different BUT very much the same ( you know what we mean). We love them both & can\'t thank you enough for letting them come into our hearts. We feel lucky to have not one, but two of Mystique & Pastis\' pups. We are so happy to have met you & know that we will remain friends. One never knows where you\'ll end up when surfing the internet but we\'re glad to have stumbled on JIM\'S COTONS. Diane & Mark Naito ( very proud owners of YUKI & her baby sister AMELIE of Luippold ) Added by Diane Naito from Ardsley, NY on 29 Jul 2007, 12:12 pm Dear Jim All pictures on this site and the site itself look very nice! I was a student in Jim\'s English class at Umass in 2001. You not only taught us English conversation or grammar but also introduced American cultures , musics and customs through the classes. I really enjoyed all of them and miss those days spent with you and classmates. Please say hello to all the Cotons including puppies(still at your home?) Take care Poyen Tsao Added by Poyen from Tokyo , Japan on 28 Jul 2007, 7:19 am Dear Jim, Please know that Chloe and I are thinking of you since the passing of Chloe\'s daddy Marius. He lived a very long life and I know that it was one filled with lots of love and happiness. Hugs, Victoria & Chloe Added by Victoria & Chloe from New York City on 19 Jul 2007, 2:54 pm Dear Jim: I just learned of the passing of Cozette. I can only image what you must be feeling, especially as she was your first female Coton. Please know that Ashton, Sophie (both your babies) join me in sending you comfort, hugs, and love. Pamela Whitney Added by Pamela Whitney from USA on 15 Jul 2007, 4:10 pm Congrats dear Jim!! This is a wonderful webpage that shows once more that big heart you have by \"raising\" those beautiful doggis as your family...thank you Jim for being just as you are. Added by Kathy from USA on 22 Jun 2007, 11:08 am Well, I just have to say that like any other International Student, recognize that our favorite teacher is Jim Luippold the most active teacher who not just teach in the classroom, also get people feel comfortable happy at their stay in the USA, I am sure that anybody in the world who has taken classes with Jim remembers him with happiness. Also to say that wherever we are, any country, we remember always our teacher Jim with gratitude and wishing the best for him. Thanks Jim for your classes on the name also of any people who has taken classes with you and like all American use to say God Bless you .... Thank you Jim from Aaron Juarez Hernandez. Mexico now like we say in Mexico VIVA JIM CABRONES Added by Aaron from Santa Ana Del Conde, Leon, Gto. Mexico. on 20 Jun 2007, 6:54 pm Hi Jim, It\'s been a while since we wrote, but we wanted to \"chime in\" and let you know we really like your new home page. And of course we are thrilled that Barklee is prominently shown in your Puppies 2006 photo album. We\'ve always loved that picture of her and Max coming in from the rain! She\'s doing great, and although she now weighs what an \"adult\" should, she\'ll always be a puppy to us. There isn\'t a day that goes by where we don\'t comment that getting Barklee (and of course dealing with you) was one of the best decisions we\'ve ever made. Thank you again. Added by Randy & Dorothy from Melrose, MA on 16 Jun 2007, 10:11 am Greetings from your friends in Granby. Love the new webpage, and love the pictures of the new pups. Hope those little ones find good health and happy homes! We hope you are doing well. Give Monet a big hug from us. He is still the talk of the family and many of our new neighbors! Good luck with the 2008 pups!! Added by Leigh Arabik from Granby, MA on 12 Jun 2007, 7:53 pm Dear Jim, Max has now been with us a whole year, and we can\'t believe how wonderful he is. Not only is he a great companion, he is a wonderful playmate to the kids. He has not changed since he was a pup, still all \"alpha male\" , but occassionally he\'ll let me win an argument. He is very smart and well-trained (easy to do!). He enjoys playing with his poodle friend every day and taking naps with his chin on mommy\'s leg. He is truly the perfect pet, and I know it is thanks to the way you have raised his parents and his \'pack\'. We hope Max has a chance to visit with his parents and his friend Dallas soon. Much love - Andrea and family Added by Andrea, Max\'s mom from Westford, MA on 11 Jun 2007, 5:39 pm I have owned Casper for almost 2 years and I constantly receive compliments on how cute my dog is. He not only is the custest dog I have ever owned, he is the best dog I have ever had. I owe that all to Jim! I have owned dogs pratically all my life and I have never met a breeder that cares so much about his family. Casper has the best temperment and is such a happy dog and I honestly believe that starts from the moment of conception and he would not be that way unless he came from a happy mom and dad. Thanks Jim, I love Casper so very very much. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a breeder of Coton\'s they should never look further than Jim Luippold. Your dogs are awesome! Added by cheri kraunelis from barrington, rhode island on 1 Jun 2007, 7:19 am Hi Jim, Nice chatting with you today. This website is great and beautiful. I like it very much. I will keep looking to see what happen there. Miss all your dogs and of course you too. Added by Jeab from Bangkok, Thailand on 23 May 2007, 11:02 pm Hi Jim, we love your new website and especially enjoyed viewing the photo gallery. The puppies are so adorable! We can hardly wait until we have one of your beautiful Cotons in our lives. It was a pleasure talking to you today and we look forward to visiting you and the pups in July. Warm regards, Karen & Vic Added by Karen & Vic from Hopkinton, MA on 18 May 2007, 8:44 am A thousand thanks for the in person introduction to your new website! It looks fantastic Jim, as do the beautiful puppies, if they are anything like your past litters, they will make some lucky families very happy! Added by Aly from Middletown, CT on 16 May 2007, 9:52 am Dear Jim, I just had to write to tell you how much I Iove your new website, and also to thank you for adding the new photo of Chloe to your photo gallery. I can\'t believe I have had Chloe for seven years already. She is the best dog I could ever have and who knew that when I got her that I would get a great human friend too? If there is anyone out there reading this and wonders if Jim is the Coton breeder for you, trust me, he is. Jim was one of the first breeders of Cotons in the United States and he is caring and wonderful with every one of his Forever Families. And as Vice President of the breed club, the USACTC (www.usactc.org) IMHO he represents the kind of Coton breeder all the others aspire to.There are not enough words to tell you how great a man he is. I could not recommend him highly enough. Just one thing ---- know that when you get a pup from Jim you are entering into a long term relationship with him for the life of your Coton. To this day he can name everyone of his pups and who owns them and where they are. So expect the same when you get one of Jim\'s Cotons. Jim, thank you for allowing me to take your \"BéBé\" home. Chloe sends a kiss to her Papa Jim. Warm hugs, Victoria Added by Chloe\'s Mom from New York City on 15 May 2007, 4:22 pm Hi ! Jim\'s Cotons - this is your friend from Provence (south east of France) writing to you : I\'ve just seen your photos gallery ; you all babies and adults look so cute and do you know you belong to a real dinasty I would love to name : JIM\'S DOGS DINASTY !!! keep in touch - talk to Jim soon Magali Added by Magali from PUYRICARD/FRANCE on 13 May 2007, 6:07 pm Oh Jim, we love the new pup pictures! Amelie is so beautiful as are all the others. Wish it were our time for a new pup....maybe next year! Hugs to all from Bentley, Susan and Darrell Added by Bentley\'s Mom Susan from Doylestown on 10 May 2007, 2:47 pm Hi Jim! Fantastic website! Mystique & Magali did a wonderful job giving birth to beautiful babies--of course Mon Pastis had a part in it too!! And you also must take credit for being the Best Coach during labor & delivery! Keep the pictures & updates coming . Yuki & I are waiting patiently for our \"pick of the litter\". One observation on my part--Magali\'s firstborn (male) is facing the opposite direction of his siblings in the pics-he must know he\'s special & rightfully so b/c he\'s the elder statesman of the group. Diane & YUKI Added by Diane Naito from Ardsley,NY on 8 May 2007, 3:12 pm Hi Jim, I\'ve been visiting your site for about seven years now and knew one day I would come to own a Coton. Well, dreams do come true! I can\'t wait to pick up my Coton come July. You do a fabulous job with all your Cotons and your generosity of spreading this beautiful breed of dog to other people. Thank you for all you do for this breed. Sincerely, Carolyn Added by Carolyn Hulten from Cape Cod, Ma. on 8 May 2007, 2:11 pm Hi Jim! Puppy pics are beautiful! Our family can\'t wait to come visit in July to take one home. What a beautiful breed they are. They are so adorable! Also, please tell me how you get them to pose like professional models! Linda, Mike and boys Added by Linda Aliberti from NJ on 8 May 2007, 11:00 am Jim We can\'t wait to see the little ones. They look great. Give the moms a hug from us. Tom and Roe Added by Tom Koelle from Becket/US on 8 May 2007, 8:16 am Dear Jim, How exciting to see the photos of the precious babies on this new site! We are eagerly anticipating welcoming one of these sweet pups into our family in July. We can’t wait to see them grow between now and then. Working with you has been a joy. We have been in communication since late last year, and you have been kind, patient, and knowledgeable. My instincts told me that you were THE breeder to trust, and I know I was right. We look forward to meeting you in person. When we come to Mass we will also say a big thank you to Magali and Mystique for being such good moms. I must say, I am already sad at the thought of taking a puppy away from its loving dog mom (and loving granddaddy Jim), but I promise that there will be lots of love on this end, too. See you in July, Jim and Cotons! Added by Sharon McGee from Swarthmore, PA on 8 May 2007, 5:50 am Dear Jim, I LOVE your new website!!! Chloe sends slurpy kisses to you, her \"Papa Jim\". Amities, Victoria & Chloe ( your Bébé) Added by Victoria from New York, NY on 5 Jun 2006, 2:17 am Dear Jim (and anyone else who might want to read this), We just wanted to make sure that you (and those reading your guestbook) know what a pleasure and rewarding experience it has been dealing with you. As the new parents of Barklee (formerly Tonie!) we cannot stress enough how professional, helpful, informative, caring, and friendly you have been throughout the entire "adoption" process. And what can we say about Barklee? She is the most wonderful pup and companion that we could ever have hoped for. You cannot imagine the joy and love that she has given us already, in just the short time (5 days) that she has been with us. Her disposition and level of training from day one are just fantastic. We feel we have gained two friends for life, both Barklee and you. Thank you so much for everything, and you KNOW we will continue to be in touch. Dorothy & Randy Added by Dorothy & Randy from Melrose, Massachusetts on 7 Jun 2006, 4:29 pm Well it's a nice website, i really love the pictures, you know there are so cute. Added by Piya from Samut Sakhon, Thailand on 1 Jul 2006, 4:10 pm Dear Jim. Too sad about your beloved Cossette. But you did the last act of unselfish love to her. I wish you happiness, health, and many blessings in your new home. You are a wonderful person! A hug, Elena Added by Elena Puig from Cayey, Puerto Rico on 10 Jul 2006, 11:39 am Hi Jim, We thought you and your guestbook readers might be interested in this story regarding Barklee, who as you know has just passed her six month birthday. This is one of those stories that you hear about, but until it happens to you, you never fully appreciate. About a week ago we were going thru our new ritual of Barklee spending some time with us on our bed, before we all go to sleep (Barklee, in her crate, of course). In the course of playing, Barklee all of a sudden put her front paws on Dorothy and started sniffing the air very pointedly. We couldnt smell anything, so just thought it was something new she did. Then after a couple of minutes, she started barking as well, which during play time is fairly unusual, except when she sees something new, or out of place. We noticed that indeed Dorothy had placed a back massager on her nightstand to be charged, as she had pulled her back out that evening. So that explained the barking, or so we thought. Barklees sniffing and barking continued, so Dorothy eventually got up to move the massager. It wasnt until she got close to it that she could smell melting plastic, and when she felt it, it was red hot. The charger unit was obviously faulty and overheating. Had it not been for Barklees actions, we could easily have gone to sleep and had the unit burst into flames while we were sleeping. Needless to say, in our opinion Barklee has most likely saved out home, if not our lives. A prized member of our family, has now become our little hero! And here we thought we couldnt ask any more of one of your fantastic Cotons. Thank you again! Dorothy & Randy Huber Added by Dorothy & Randy Huber from Melrose, MA USA on 24 Sep 2006, 10:24 am Jim- I wanted to thank you for taking the time to talk to me a few days ago, in regards to our problems with a male we bought from ANOTHER breeder. You gave me great insight, and you were very patient. Mighty generous of you to take the time, especially since it did not involve you personally, in any way. You quite clearly have the Coton breed as paramount in your world- and they are fortunate to have you. Your website shows it too. Your story about Cosette made me cry quite literally.). Anyway, I just wanted to thank you for answering your phone in person the other day, and talking openly to a stranger on the other side of the continent. Lise Added by Lise Waugh from Norco, CA on 30 Sep 2006, 12:09 pm Jim, Love the pictures of all the puppies!!! Added by Jeanne Shumway from Enumclaw, Washington on 24 Oct 2006, 12:00 pm Dear Jim, Dino, Celine, Bijou and Bianca are the most gorgeous litter I think you have ever had -- besides Chloe of course! :-) I feel sure that the two babies not yet claimed are just waiting for the perfect Forever Families to Surf In and see them, and it will be Love At First Sight. I know it was for me when I got to visit them last month. They look gorgeous in the photos, but IMHO they are even MORE spectacular looking in person. And so sweet too! Just like their parents Mystique and MonPastis. Give the gang hugs for me Chloe sends her First Papa a kiss. Victoria Added by Victoria, & Chloe of Luippold from NY NY on 17 Nov 2006, 10:27 am We are the proud parents of Bryson (Bijou). He is a wonderful pup. Jim has done a wonderful job with all his Cotons. He is truly the best. Added by Karl Shrader and Mary Ingraham from Berkeley Springs, WV on 20 Nov 2006, 9:47 pm Hi Jim, Just had to say what a joy having Celine is! Adding her to our family was a no brainer. She & my husband are already "a couple". She is the furriest ball of energy; and so smart . She even has my 14 y/o Yorkie acting like a puppy again! You are a rare breed yourself-very sincere , honest, warm & welcoming. I will certainly keep in touch & recommend you to anyone interested in Cotons. Diane Added by Diane Naito from Ardsley, New York on 28 Nov 2006, 1:35 pm I purchased Ashton from Jim seven years ago, a male. I just purchased Sophie, a female from Jim Thanksgiving, 06. Jim also sold one of his puppies to another friend of mine about five years ago, Casey. I believe Jim to be the most loving and caring of breeders. Even after all these years of breeding loving, healthy puppies at home, he still cries each and every time a puppy leaves to go to their new home. He is always available to answer questions, even years and years later. I highly recommend him to anyone even thinking of incorporating a Coton into their family. Love to all, Pamela Whitney 12/06 Added by Pamela Whitney from Corrales, New Mexico on 31 Dec 1969, 5:00 pm My wife, Mary and I, hooked up with Jim in February 2006 and placed a deposit for a pup in the summer of 2006. Sept 2nd came with 4 beautiful pups and my wife picked Bijou from the 10 hour old photos sent to us by Jim. He kept us updated every week with photos till we picked Bijou (now Bryson) up @ 11 weeks. Bryson is a joy but we cannot say enough about Jim. He is one of the nicest people my wife and I have ever met. He has helped us so much during our 1st few weeks of parenthood. We have found a true friend. Thank You Jim. Bryson send his love and kisses too. Added by Karl Shrader & Mary Ingraham from Berkeley Springs, WV on 1 Jan 2007, 1:04 am Hi Jim, Paul & I are totally "smitten" by our TWO Cotton babies, You gave us Suzanne's name after we couldn't get a puppy from you and when we went to pick up "Whimsical", we somehow picked up "Spencer" also. We couldn't love them more. They are so much FUN and so funny together. Thanks for your referral. Added by Gail Wetherell-Sack from Malvern, Ohio on 31 Dec 1969, 5:00 pm We already have 3 dogs. My friend has a Coton and I think a Coton will be our next addition when the time comes. Added by courtney Meisberger from Pittsfield, MA USA on 19 Jan 2007, 8:25 am Hi Jim, I loved your web page and all your beautiful photos of your fabulous cotons. My husband and I lost our springer spaniel, Murphy, last year. We really miss him... We met a man who was walking his coton and we thought he was such a pretty dog and so friendly. Will you be having any new puppies soon? We would love to see them. What are your requirements for families who would adopt your puppies? How much do your puppies cost? We can see how much you love and care for them so they must be very happy and friendly dogs. Added by Jean Zinck from Melrose MA on 21 Jan 2007, 2:10 pm Hi, I can't stay up until midnight when it will actually be March 12th, but I want to wish Max and Posey, my brother and sister, a very Happy Birthday. I hope your first year has been as much fun as mine has. Also I want to say a special thank you to my first Daddy, Jim !
